First Ad Hoc Working Group Meeting on the Second Nomad Games has started on 3 February 2016 in Bishkek hosted by the State Agency for the Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic. Delegations consisting of sport experts from Member States and delegation of the Turkic Council Secretariat headed by the Deputy Secretary General Omer Kocaman participate at the meeting.
At the Working Group meeting “Regulation of the Second World Nomad Games” will be discussed and finalized in order to submit it for the approval of the Ministers in charge of Sport of the Turkic Council at the meeting to be held on 4 March 2016 in Istanbul.
Upon the decision of the Heads of State at the Fifth Summit of the Turkic Council held on 11 September 2015 in Astana the theme of the Sixth Summit of the Turkic Council agreed to be “Cooperation in Youth and National Sports”. And in this respect Second Nomad Games will be held parallel to the Sixth Summit in September 2016 in Cholpan Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
