The First Meeting of the Coordination Group on the establishment of Joint Educational TV Channel and International Turkic News Channel was held on 20-21 October 2014 at the premises of the Turkic Council Secretariat.
Developing common information space and competitive media in the Member States, establishment of an international news channel that will broadcast in English, Russian and languages of the member States to represent the Turkic world in the international community, as well as the means and ways for the establishment of a joint educational TV channel, were discussed during the Meeting.
The Coordination Group decided to start works towards the establishment of a TV Channel with news, educational and cultural content.
