For reviving ancient Silk Road through enhancement of customs cooperation Turkic Council delegation visited Kyrgyz-China border-crossing points.
Within the context of reviving of ancient Silk Road through enhancement of customs cooperation, the delegation of Turkic Council consisting of customs officials of Azerbaijan and Turkey visited the both sides of the Kyrgyz-China border crossing points located in the Torugart region on 27 September 2016.

The delegation also examined various facilities used for customs purposes in the area and was briefed by competent Kyrgyz and Chinese officials on the procedures conducted in mentioned facilities.

Following the completion of the Kyrgyrz-China borders, the delegation is scheduled to visit the border gate of Altynkul on 28-29 September 2016.

The delegation is accompanied by Mr. Farid Damirli and Mehmet Şefik Yurtçiçek, Project Directors of the Turkic Council Secretariat.
