Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu hold a press conference today where he announced that Uzbekistan officially applied to join the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) and Turkmenistan also evaluates the issue of being an observer member. Minister Çavuşoğlu also stated that the official process for the new accession will be completed during the 7th Summit of the Turkic Council to be held in Baku on 15 October.
