Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan visited the Headquarters of the Turkic Council in Istanbul.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Ruslan Kazakbaev visited the Headquarters of the Turkic Council Secretariat in İstanbul on 11 November 2020.
Being the first Foreign Minister visiting the new premises of the Turkic Council, located at the historical building in Istanbul, namely “Arif Paşa Konağı”, Minister Kazakbaev was welcomed by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev and his Deputies.
The Minister and Secretary General and delegations held talks, during which Ruslan Kazakbaev conveyed to Secretary General Amreyev, the greetings of the Acting President and the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Sadir Japarov.
Minister Kazakbaev expressed the importance and attention given by Kyrgyzstan to the Turkic Council and emphasized the increasing credibility of the Turkic Council not only in the Turkic World but also in the international arena.  
R.Kazakbaev expressed the appreciation of the Government of Kyrgyzstan to Secretary General Amreyev for his earlier visit to Kyrgyzstan during the critical period of the recent transition in the country and his support to the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as for his efforts in facilitating communication between the new Government and Governments of the Turkic Council Member States.
Foreign Minister informed Secretary General on his visits to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey as well as his high-level meetings including the President of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member States. He noted that during all these meetings the Turkic Council and its activities were discussed at length. 
Foreign Minister articulated the contentment of the Kyrgyz side with growing activities of the Turkic Council and indicated the high interest for close, comprehensive and fruitful cooperation within the Turkic Council.

Secretary General expressed the pleasure to host the Minister under this roof, which is literally the common head office of the all governments of the Turkic Council Member States.
B.Amreyev underlined the importance of stability and development in Kyrgyzstan, the founding member of the Turkic Council and essential part of Turkic World, which has always actively participated in all cooperation initiatives of the Organization.
Briefing Minister Kazakbaev regarding the substance of his contacts with Governments of Turkic Council Member States after his visit to Bishkek, Secretary General stated that these Governments are working to provide all kinds of assistance and support to brotherly Kyrgyzstan in this difficult period of modern history of the country.
Referring to the current activities carried out by the Turkic Council in various fields including tourism, transport, health, education, youth and sports, B.Amreyev highlighted the huge potential among the Turkic Council Member States to make a significant progress in the economic cooperation agenda of the Organization and updated the Minister on the current status of important undertakings in this regard. 
Head of the Turkic Council also shared with the Minister the successful outcomes of the Health Scientific Group Meeting held on 30-31 October in Istanbul with the participation of the President of the Republic of Turkey and Ministers of Health of the Member States and touched upon the bilateral meetings he hold with each participating Minister in the margins of that meeting.  R.Kazakbaev was also briefed on the results of recent extraordinary meeting of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Member States held in Baku, which was organized to demonstrate the support of the business communities of the Turkic World to Azerbaijan. 
Secretary General mentioned the important historical achievement of Azerbaijan’s liberation of its occupied territories and restoring sovereignty over them in accordance with the norms and principles of international law and the UN Security Council Resolutions. In this regard he also thanked all Member States for supporting Azerbaijan during all this period.
Parties discussed the agenda of the next Summit of Turkic Council to be held in March 2021 in Turkistan and expressed their belief that the Summit will be another step forward to closer cooperation and deeper integration among Turkic States. 
In this regard the Minister and the Secretary General underlined the importance of concluding the work on drafting the Turkic World Vision 2040 and Turkic Council Strategy 2025, which will be presented by the Secretariat to the Member States in the upcoming period for consideration CFM and for adoption to the CHS at the forthcoming Turkic Council Summit.
Parties agreed on the continuation of work for furthering development, deepening collaboration, as well as expanding joint efforts and mutual support among the Members States.
