Headed by the Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov, Turkic Council started its monitoring activities of the Parliamentary Elections in the Kyrgyz Republic, in the framework of the International Joint Election Observer Mission.

The mission, which is composed of the Turkic Council Secretariat staff members, participants from the member states as well as the representatives of Turkic Council related bodies, continues its election observer activities in Bishkek and Osh.

The elections started at 8 o’clock on 4 September 2015 and will last at 20.00.

The Turkic Council Mission is following the voting process in three electoral districts by different groups, will prepare a report on their observations and the data related to the election observation mission will be shared with the competent authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic. The outcomes will be announced to the public during the press conference to be held on October 5, 2015 at 10:00.
