The program has started with the meeting of Experts of Orkhon Process within the context of the General Assembly and continued with the official opening ceremony. At the opening ceremony with the participation of Mr. Niyazi Novruzov, Minister of Health of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Prof.Dr. Hikmet Koçak, Rector of Atatürk University addressed to the participants and gave information to them about the activities of the Union.
Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman took the floor at the opening and expressed the contribution of the Union to our future as well as gave information about the projects of the Turkic Council in the field of ‘youth and sports’ which is the main theme of the upcoming Turkic Council Sixth Summit. The Kyrgyz representative of TURKSOY Mr. Kocogeldi Kuluyev delivered a speech and informed the audience about the projects of TURKSOY developed in cooperation with the universities.
At the end of the opening ceremony, Mr. Rahmi Er, Member of the Board of Council of Higher Education of Turkey (YÖK) addressed to the participants and expressed their continuous support to the activities of the Union.
The program continued with the opening of ‘youth and peace exhibition’ which is devoted to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Turkic States. The photos at the exhibition will be exhibited for a week.
Headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman the meeting is coordinated by the Project Directors Pelin Musabay Baki, Yıldız Uzakova, Asan Mazhitov and Zamin Aliyev.
