International conference on 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey was held in Ankara.
International conference on 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and Turkey honored by 11th President of the Republic of Turkey H.E. Abdullah Gül was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ankara on 5 December 2017 in Ankara.

The former President Gül in his speech highlighted the significant role of Kazakhstan in the region and international arena. Significant steps taken by Kazakhstan recently, especially its peace-building efforts including the renouncement of nuclear arms and the mediator role in the rapprochement between Turkey and Russia as well as the reputation of a vanguard country in the Turkic World were stressed by the former President as well.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Ankara H.E. Abzal Saparbekuly for his part underlined the strategic importance of Turkey and noted significant accomplishments achieved in relations between the two brotherly countries.

Ministers, ambassadors, academicians, journalists and other high-level officials were present at the event sharing their views and significant points on the bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey.

Turkic Council Project Director Assan Mazhitov attended the conference on behalf of the Secretariat.
