International observation mission of the Turkic Council consisted of the representatives of Azerbaijan, Turkey and the Secretariat of the Turkic Council headed by the Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov organized a press-conference on the results of the elections of the deputies to the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan held on 29 June 2017.
The members of the mission, Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Dr. Ömer Kocaman, Ambassador Mehmet Munis Dirik and Prof. Salih Yilmaz from Turkey, as well as Bakhsheyish Asgarov from Azerbaijan accompanied the Secretary General during the press conference.
During the press-conference held in the Headquarters of the Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan, Ambassador Hasanov delivered his conclusions on the results of the observation mission. In his conclusion he underlined the successful realization of the elections to Senate and stated that the elections were open, transparent and fully complied with the national legislation of Kazakhstan as well as universally agreed international standards.
Project Directors Yedil Myrzakhanov, Farid Damirli, Ali Civiler, Research Expert Dastan Almen and Deputy Director of Financial Affairs Araz Salmanov also participated in the press conference.
