Joint Nowruz Celebration Program was organized by the Turkic States in Vilnius, Lithuania.
A Nowruz Celebration Program, which had to be postponed two years due to pandemic, was co-organized by the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Uzbekistan and Hungary on May 18, 2022 in Vilnius-Lithuania.
As part of the program, concerts, folk dance performances and a reception were held with the participation of officials from the embassies of OTS Member and Observer States in Vilnius, diaspora representatives and local guests.
Participating in the meeting Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States G. Gozalov expressed the hope that such cooperative events of Turkic States to be held on the permanent bases and set a good tradition.
He conveyed his special thanks to Ambassador Gökhan Turan, both for his contributions to the Turkic World in his previous posts and for his pioneering efforts in organizing this event. 
The high ranked Turkic diplomat noted that similar programs would also be convened on the 3 October Turkic Cooperation Day, the day the Organization of Turkic States was established.
During the program, Deputy Head of Mission of Azerbaijan Atash Girkhiyev, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Viktor Temirbayev, Ambassador of Türkiye Gökhan Turan, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Kadambay Sultanov, Ambassador of Hungary Gábor Diczházi and Executive Director of OTS European Representation Office János Hóvári addressed the participants emphasized the significance of Nowruz for the Turkic world.
