Kazakhstan - Azerbaijan Bilateral Meeting on Transport took place in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
Meeting of transport agencies and customs authorities of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on development of Ro-Ro ferries and cargo-passenger transportation between Aktau and Baku sea ports. 

In the framework of Turkic Council’s Working group on the development of transport, a bilateral Kazakhstani-Azerbaijani meeting took place in Aktau port on 13-14 May 2013 in Aktau city of the Republic of Kazakhstan with an aim to discuss in detail the prospects of the development of Ro-Ro ferries and cargo-passenger transportation between Aktau and Baku sea ports.
 
During the meeting the prospects and perspectives of the Baku-Aktau line were described. In addition, the issues of optimization of tariffs, necessity to use a single window clearance in registering transport and accompanying documents were discussed. Also Aktau and Baku sea ports’ administrations presented and information regarding the capacity and current modernization processes of the ports.  
 
At the end Agreed Minutes of the meeting were adopted.
