Launch of First Tabarruk Ziyorat Tours within the Organization of Turkic States
As part of the implementation of the Tabarruk Ziyorat (Sacred Visit) project, in alignment with the OTS Strategy for 2022-2026 adopted during the Samarkand Summit, the first group tours to the holy places of Uzbekistan were organized with the support of the Organization of Turkic States.
In collaboration with the tour company "Mercury Travel" and Turkish tour operators, a series of group tours accommodating up to 500 tourists have been planned to visit cities such as Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Shakhrisabz, and other notable locations in Uzbekistan. Furthermore, future endeavours will include organizing similar tours to Turkistan, Osh, Ozgen, and various cities across the Turkic countries.
The Tabarruk Ziyorat project aims to draw a larger number of tourists to the Turkic region by showcasing the historical, spiritual, and cultural heritage associated with the Turkic-Islamic civilization within the Member and Observer States of the OTS.
In the coming period, the OTS is planning to host an International Forum that will bring together tour companies from Turkic countries to discuss the avenues for expanding networks and fostering collaboration among representatives of the tourism sector, with a focus on implementing the Tabarruk Ziyorat project.
Tour companies interested in participating in the above-referred forum or cooperating in the organization of Tabarruk Ziyorat tours are encouraged to contact the OTS Secretariat (rakhmatov@turkicstates.org, ersinaydogan@turkicstates.org) and "Mercury Travel" (info@mercurytravel.uz) via email.
