The Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will sign an agreement to foster global and regional development partnerships and work together for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals or SDGs). The agreement will enhance the cooperation between the Turkic Council and the UNDP to carry out joint initiatives in select fields including tourism, economy, information and communication technologies and renewable energy to contribute to South-South and Triangular cooperation in the Member States of the Turkic Council and across the region along the historical Silk Road.
