On the margins of the 3rd Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), on March 2, 2024 H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) met with H.E. Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing efforts on the implementation of the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, put forward during the 10th Summit of the OTS, held in Astana in November 3, 2023.
The Secretary General welcomed the significant outcomes of Uzbekistan’s Chairmanship in the OTS in 2023 which will support the continued and constructive engagement among the Member States and Observer and provide a firm foundation to further deepen multilateral cooperation.
The parties reaffirmed the importance of the close coordination between the government sectors and other relevant institutions of the Member States in the implementation of goals envisaged by the Turkic World Vision – 2040 and the OTS Strategy for 2022 - 2026.
