I would like to convey my heartfelt greetings on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan declared its independence on December 16, 1991 and since that time Kazakhstan has proudly overcome the time of difficulties and period of crisis. Today Kazakhstan under the leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev became a dynamic, economically strong and respected country in the world.
Kazakhstan is one of the founder and active member of the Turkic Council, which aims a close collaboration among Turkic speaking states in different areas like economy, trade, transport, tourism, science and education.
Taking this opportunity, on behalf of the Turkic Council Secretariat and myself, I would like to congratulate the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and I wish peace, prosperity and happiness to the Kazakhstan people.
