Today marks the seventh anniversary of the victory of democracy and the honorable stance of the Turkish people and heroic Turkish security forces against the coup attempt that took place on the night of July 15, 2016 committed by the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) against the State, the constitutional order, the Government, and the people of Türkiye.
This atrocious coup attempt resulted in yet another heroic epic of the Turkish nation, highlighting its loyalty to the rule of law and democratic institutions of the country.
On the occasion of July 15 - Democracy and National Unity Day, while we reiterate that the entire Turkic world will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish people, we commemorate with deep respect all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during this treacherous attempt.
