On the occasion of the "1st European Games " organized by the Association of European Olympic Committees and hosted for the first time by the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku, I would like to convey my congratulations to all Azerbaijan. Sports games, which will start with great enthusiasm, are symbol of peace and brotherhood. With this in mind I would like to wish sucess to all brother athletes.
I strongly hope that the European Games and all similar events to be held in the future will bring soon peace and tranquility not only to our region but also to all world.
