On behalf of the Turkic Council and on my own, I would like to congratulate wholeheartedly the Qarabag Football Club which has qualified to participate in the Champions League by winning its rivals during Champions League play-off tour matches.
With this successful result, the Qarabag team, the first Azerbaijani team to succeed in the Champions League, became one of the sources of pride for Azerbaijan as well as for the whole Turkic world.
I wish that this and similar achievements would be an example to all sportsmen who compete in all branches of sports on individual or team basis. I would like to once again convey my sincere congratulations to the Qarabag Football Club management, its technical committee and all brotherly sportsmen.
