On the occasion of the third anniversary of the victory of democracy and the honorable stance of the Turkish people and the heroic Turkish security forces against the treacherous coup attempt, we gratefully commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during this atrocious event, and apperceive wholeheartedly the 15 July - Democracy and National Unity Day, which has become symbol of the Turkish people's faith and devotion to democracy.
Hoping that these and similar events will never be repeated, I would like to reiterate that the Turkic world will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Republic of Turkey and its people.
