Today marks the anniversary of the victory of democracy and the honorable stance of the Turkish people and the Turkish Government against the coup attempt that took place on the night of 15 July 2016, which has proved the dedication and commitment of the Republic of Turkey and its people to rule of law and democracy. 
On this very occasion, we gratefully commemorate the martyrs, who lost their lives during these illegal actions and hope that similar attempts will never occur again.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to reiterate that the Turkic world will continue to stand and jointly work to strengthen the law and democracy for the prosperity, peace and unity in our region.
