The date of May 28, 1918 is a historic day for the realization of Azerbaijani ideal of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for which the ancestors of the Azerbaijan willingly sacrificed their lives. On this date, the Republic of Azerbaijan declared its independence with the ‘Declaration of Independence’.
On the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on behalf of the Turkic Council and myself, I would like to congratulate the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan and taking this opportunity, I wish peace, prosperity and happiness to Azerbaijani people and all Turkic World.
