Message of the Turkic Council Secretary General on the occasion of 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Message of the Turkic Council Secretary General on the occasion of 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on behalf of the Turkic Council and on my own behalf, I have the honor to express my sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Government and the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that during the years of independence, Uzbekistan has made historic strides in building a new state and society, and great achievements have been attained with the will and great potential of the brave and noble Uzbek people.

In the new era of development, the large-scale reforms implemented under the leadership of President H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev have accelerated the economic and social development of the country, while the open, friendly and pragmatic foreign policy, as well as the initiatives put forward to intensify the cooperation processes in Central Asia and the Turkic World, have made it possible to gain recognition of "New Uzbekistan" as a reliable partner and active participant in the international arena.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for all the efforts of Uzbek leadership to expand practical cooperation between the Turkic states in the political, trade, economic, investment, tourism, transport and transit spheres, as well as to preserve and promote the great cultural and historical heritage of our fraternal peoples.

I am convinced that as a result of recent reforms, Uzbekistan will be able to achieve sustainable goals, such as building a developed democratic state and a strong civil society, and increase its influence in the region and beyond.

Taking this opportunity, on this historic day I wish great success, peace and prosperity to the Republic of Uzbekistan and brotherly Uzbek people

Mustaqillik bayramingiz muborak bo’lsin!

Baghdad Amreyev,
Secretary General of the Turkic Council
