Message of the Turkic Council Secretary General on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Message of the Turkic Council Secretary General on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
28 years ago, on this day, the brotherly and friendly Turkic State, laying at the very heart of Central Asia, the Republic of Uzbekistan declared its independence and opened a new page in its centuries of long history.

On this very important day, on behalf of the Turkic Council and on my own, I have the honor to extend my sincere congratulations to Uzbekistan, as well as to the Uzbek nation.

We are confident that great achievements made  by H.E. President Shavkat Mirzyoyev in recent years will secure bright future and well deserved place of Uzbekistan in the world. I wish the people of Uzbekistan to achieve these successes and high goals.

We are happy to witness that over the past few years,  the relations between the Turkic Council and Uzbekistan, which are based on the constructive cooperation rooting from centuries-old historical ties, continue to expand and strengthen in line with serving mutual interests and cementing multilateral and regional cooperation.

On the eve of celebrating the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkic Council, we strongly believe that the relations will reach to a higher level in the near future.

Mustaqillik  bayramingiz muborak bo’lsin!

Baghdad Amreyev
Secretary General of the Turkic Council
