The Project Director of the Turkic Council Farid Damirli participated in the Conference entitled “Haydar Aliyev and the Turkic World” organized by the Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University on 4 May 2015 on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of National Leader of Azerbaijan Haydar Aliyev’s birthday.
During the meeting the World Azerbaijanis Culture Centre presented “Brisket Gold Metal of Eternal Leader” to the rector of the Sütçü İmam University Durmuş Deveci due to his activities related to Azerbaijan and the Turkic World.
The Governor of Kahramanmaraş Hakan Güvençer, the Education Counsellor of the Ajerbaijani Embassy Necibe Nesibova, the Deputy of Azerbaijan Kamile Aliyeva, the Secretary General of the National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan İrade Aliyeva, as well as numerous academicians and university students attended the abovementioned event.
At the end of the meeting artists presented the performance of the National Folk Dance Team of Azerbaijan and the Concert of the Turkish Classical Music.
The Project Director of the Turkic Council Farid Damirli participated in the said event on behalf of the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov.
