As a continuation of the contacts launched in December 2014 and maintained in February 2015 between the European Union (EU) and the Turkic Council in Brussels, Mr. François Naucodie First Secretary, Advisor of Foreign Policy Political Affairs of EU Delegation to Turkey was received by Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasanov on June 12, 2015.
Extending cooperation among the two institutions in the coming period was discussed during the Meeting. Ambassador Ramil Hasanov gave information about the current and future activities of the Turkic Council. On the other hand, First Secretary Francois Naucodie informed Ambassador Hasanov on the work of the EU External Relations Service. The Parties discussed activities that can be performed together. Talks continued during the working lunch.
Project Director Pelin Musabay Baki and Chief of Protocol Emre Yurdakul were present during the meeting.
