2019 was indeed the year of tremendous accomplishments and significant developments for the Turkic Council and the Turkic World. At the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Organization, we have reaped the harvest of our intensive joint efforts with the accession of Uzbekistan; the first enlargement of the Organization, the inauguration of the European Office of the Turkic Council in Hungary as well as the establishment of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as significant achievements in boosting the cooperation in the fields of transportation, tourism,high education. youth and sport and others.
The Turkic Council, after having completed 10 years of an establishment period, now enters into a new phase, where stronger political relations, enhanced economic and technological partnerships will flourish in our region; and the brotherly relations between our countries will reach higher levels.
In this respect, I strongly believe that the coming year holds even greater opportunities in terms of a closer cooperation and deeper integration in the Turkic World with a fresher look and common perspective on our common future and the role of the Turkic Council in light of the changing international parameters.
Taking this opportunity I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the Honorable Presidents of the Turkic World, Distinguished Ministers of Foreign Affairs and all government institutions of our Member States as well as their public and private organizations for their continuous support to the activities of the Turkic Council.
I wish all Turkic peoples and everyone of you great achievements in 2020, happiness, health and prosperity in your life!
