On May 7, 2015 a reception on the occasion of the 23rd Anniversary of the Kazakhstan Armed Forces Day was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Ankara.
The Deputy Secretary General of the Turkic Council Abzal Saparbekuly participated in the event which hosted by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Zhanseit Tuimebayev and the Defense Attaché Col. Murat Sakanov.
Participants included guests from the Turkish Armed Forces, Deputies from the Parliament (Grand National Assembly of Turkey), representatives from the Turkish government, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps and NGOs.
The guest’ attention was attracted by the cadres of the military parade that took place in Astana earlier the same day. The said parade include 5 thousand servicemen and members of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about 200 units of weapons and military vehicles, as well as about 70 units of modern aircraft equipment.
At the end of the event the guests had an opportunity to enjoy the performance of the concert by the Yesevi Troup.
