Within the framework of the Conference of the Organization of Turkic States for IT professionals specializing in "Smart cities", the OTS delegation consisted of experts from the Member and Observer States visited the Situation Center of the Department for Digital Development under the Tashkent City Municipality on 21 October 2022.
The experts got acquainted with the activities of the Situation Center related to analysis and planning of urban infrastructure of Tashkent city as well as the perspective of digitalizing the public services within the government program “Digital Uzbekistan”.
The representatives of the Department for Digital Development shared with the best practices and experience on creating the comprehensive digital interactive map and “Xalq Nazorati” (“People's Control”) service, designed to speed up the solution of problems faced by citizens.
Following the presentation, the experts exchanged views and made proposals on the further scaling up digital and smart technologies to increase the efficiency of infrastructure and related services with the ultimate target of creating smart cities.
