Organization of Turkic States took part in Istanbul Human Resources Forum held on 5-6 December 2022 on the theme of “Talent Hub of the New Century”
On 5 December 2022, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev attended and addressed the participants at the Opening Program of the Istanbul Human Resources Forum organized by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office on the theme of "Talent Hub of the New Century".
In his address, Secretary General informed the audience of the fruitful cooperation in the field of human resources management within the Organization of Turkic States and expressed contentment with the recent signing of the Memorandum of Understanding that will contribute to the efforts of the OTS member and observe countries to improve the professional skills of public institutions and strengthen their capacities in providing good management and public service.  Secretary General also underlined the importance of a “people-centered” approach for sustainable development and from this perspective, expressed that in line with the Organization’s long-term objectives due attention will be placed on advancing people-centered development and sustainable economic growth in the OTS member countries in the upcoming period.
The President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed a message to the participants of the Forum, where he noted that only an inclusive and accessible human resources model could carry the skills and competencies of the citizens much further and that within the framework of the vision of the “Century of Türkiye”, Türkiye aims to increase the effectiveness of this model and to make it perfect in every aspect by eliminating its deficiencies. 
The President of the Republic of Türkiye Human Resources Office, Mr. Salim Atay in his opening address informed the participants of the Forum on the latest efforts of the Office for the preparation of a 5-year HR plan of the Türkiye at the national level that also aims at rendering Türkiye an international hub for talent in the upcoming years. President Atay also shared the upcoming events and projects of the Office. 
In the framework of the Forum, the "Organization of Turkic States e-human Workshop" was held on the same day with the participation of the Agencies and Academies for Public Administration of Turkic Member and Observer States. During the workshop, Deputy Secretary General Mr. Sadi Jafarov delivered an opening address, in which he highlighted the emphasis put by the Organization on transitioning towards digital systems, including in human resources management, and sharing national experiences and best practices in this sphere. At the workshop, the Parties presented their national public human resources management strategies and shared detailed information on the existing mechanisms created to this end.
