On 2 April 2024, the OTS Deputy Secretary General Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov conducted an online meeting with the representatives of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) to discuss the digitalization of transport procedures in the Turkic region, in particular the implementation of the eCMR project in line with the OTS Transport Connectivity Program.

The Parties also exchanged views on the upcoming transport-related events within the OTS, including the Transport Coordination Committee meeting in Budapest, demonstration tours and multimodal transport forums scheduled to take place throughout 2024.
