A delegation of the OTS Secretariat comprising Deputies Secretary General Dr. Mirvokhid Azimov and Dr. Omer Kocaman and Project Director Mr. Shokirjon Rakhmatov paid a field visit to the Baku Govsan International Trade Sea Port on 7 July 2024.
During the visit, the delegation held a meeting with the Director General of the Port Mr. Rashad Dashdemirov and discussed the cooperation avenues and the ways to enhance transport connectivity in the region with the large engagement of the private sector in line with the instructions given by the Presidents at the OTS Shusha Summit.
Highlighting the importance of the recently established Alliance of Logistic Centers and Cargo Carriers under the aegis of the OTS, parties exchanged opinions on the further strengthening of the Alliance and ensuring its active participation in the implementation of practically significant projects along the Middle Corridor.
