The Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States, Dr. Ömer Kocaman, met with the Director General of Meteorology of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Volkan Mutlu Coşkun, on February 6, 2024, at the OTS Secretariat premises. The parties exchanged views on the establishment of the Turkic World Meteorological Union and discussed cooperation activities in meteorology among OTS Member States, as well as preparations for the 3rd Turkic World Meteorological Forum to be held in Uzbekistan this year.
