Headed by Deputy Secretary General Ambassador Yerzhan Mukash, the Election Observation Mission of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) for the 28th General Parliamentary Elections and the Presidential Elections of the Republic of Turkiye visited over 100 polling stations in Istanbul on 14 May 2023. 
The Election Observation Mission consisting of representatives of the OTS Member States attended the opening and closing of the polling stations as well as monitored the voting process.
On the same day Secretary General of the OTS H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the international observers. During the meeting the sides exchanged their preliminary assessments of the conducted elections.
