The Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in cooperation with the Justice Academy of Türkiye convened 1st meeting of the Turkic Judicial Training Network (TJTN) in an online format on 07 February 2023.
The Meeting started with the observation of a minute of silence in honor of the victims of the catastrophic earthquakes that devastated Türkiye’s southeastern cities on 6 February 2023.
The representatives of the judicial training institutions of the Member and Observer States of the OTS discussed the content of the website of the TJTN developed by the Justice Academy of Türkiye, topics of the upcoming Kurultai on April 2023 as well as future activities in the framework of the TJTN.
TJTN was established on 12 December 2022 in Istanbul with the purpose of developing cooperation among the judicial training institutions through the training of the judges, prosecutors, and candidate/assistant judges to strengthen the rule of law under the umbrella of the OTS.
