The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E.Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev took part in the plenary session of the Astana International Forum opened by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan His Excellency Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and addressed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic His Excellency Sadyr Japarov and other high-level speakers on 8 June 2023.

Having underlined that the Forum’s missions are to reveal the situation in the world, identify the main challenges and crises faced globally, President Tokayev stated that, in order to survive, the global system must work for everyone, real peace and prosperity for the majority, not for the few.

Within the AIF Ambassador Omuraliev had step by meetings with heads of states and international organizations, including the IMF, UNESCO, SCO and others. The sides exchanged views on the Forum agenda’s pressing items and discussed the cooperation opportunities.
