Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Baghdad Amreyev held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi on 6 October 2022 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The Secretary General and the Minister discussed the ongoing process of the multifaceted cooperation in the framework of the OTS and Kazakhstan’s contribution to the efforts aimed at the implementation of the high tasks of the Organization’s agenda. 

B.Amreyev and M.Tileuberdi shared views on the outcomes of the recently held ad-hoc meeting of ICT Ministers of the OTS (Astana, 28 September 2022), the 2nd meeting of Energy Ministers of the OTS (Almaty, 28 September 2022) and the 6th meeting of Youth and Sports Ministers (Iznik, 30 September 2022) as well as the decision on convening the next World Nomad Games in Kazakhstan in 2024.

Parties paid a special attention to the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the OTS Foreign Ministers to be held on 17 October 2022 in Istanbul and OTS Summit to be scheduled in Samarkand on 11 November 2022.

The Secretary General and the Minister also exchanged views on the number of pressing issues of the regional and global agendas.
