The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB) and the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu on 7 April 2023 at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.
During the visit the Secretary General and the TCCI President discussed the special role and contribution of TCCI in strengthening trade relations as well as the mechanism of fruitful cooperation among the OTS countries.
Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the Mr. Omuraliev for assuming the post of the Secretary General at the OTS and expressed his appreciation for the steps taken by Secretary General to enhance relations among the Turkic States.
The parties also reviewed the agenda and program of the first General Assembly Meeting of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry which will take place on the evening of 7 April 2023 in Istanbul.
