During his working trip to the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States held a meeting with Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, President of the Turkic Academy in Astana on 19 December 2022.

Having congratulated the Secretary General regarding the appointment, Mr. Mustafayev expressed his commitment to strengthen the Turkic World by enhancing the Turkic Academy’s activities in the new era of development.

In this regard, Mr. Mustafayev shared on the ongoing and upcoming activities of the Turkic Academy.

Ambassador Omuraliev thanked for greeting and voiced his hope that the OTS and Turkic Academy henceforth will work for the Turkic unity in a better coordination.

In this regard, he expressed the Secretariat’s readiness to assist the Turkic Academy on the necessary issues, including improving the textbooks on “Common Turkic History”, “Common Turkic Literature” and “Geography of the Turkic World” based on the scientific discovering.

The sides also reviewed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Turkic Cooperation Organizations to be held on 20 January 2023.
