OTS Secretary General met with Chief Foreign Policy Advisor of the President of the European Council
In the framework of his working visit to Brussels, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Mr. Simon Mordue, the Chief Foreign Policy Advisor of the President of the European Council, H.E. Charles Michel, on 4 July 2023. This meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to exchange insights and explore avenues of cooperation between the OTS and the European Council.
The Secretary General commenced the meeting by providing an overview of the OTS, highlighting its activities and vision for the upcoming period. He emphasized the importance of regional stability, peace, and prosperity as key objectives of the Organization.
The Chief Foreign Policy Advisor, underscored the EU's commitment to the region, particularly Central Asia, and its recognition of the crucial role it plays in ensuring stability and prosperity. He informed the Secretary General about the latest programs undertaken by the EU to contribute to these goals.
