Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev met with Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye H.E. Abdulkadir Uraloğlu on 17 May 2024 at the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.

During the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev and Minister Uraloğlu emphasized enhancing transport connectivity and cooperation within the Turkic region and globally, with a specific focus on developing the Middle Corridor. 

Highlighting the outcomes of the Transport Coordination Committee meeting held in Budapest in April 2024, the Parties discussed practical measures to implement the instructions from Heads of State aimed at facilitating transport operations and advancing both physical and digital transport infrastructure projects.
