OTS Secretary General H.E.Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev delivered a speech at the Opening Ceremony of the International conference on “Diwan Lughat al-Turk” on the 950th anniversary of its writing: a common asset of the Turkic World” held on 24 June 2024 in Bishkek.
Secretary General noted the significance of “Diwan Lughat al-Turk” as the first written comprehensive encyclopedia about language, history, geography, culture and traditions of the Turkic peoples.
In his speech, he also touched upon the projects of the Turkic Academy and proposed to create the Common Turkic Dictionary with relevant institutions of the OTS Member States.
