Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev received a delegation headed by the Ambassador of Finland to Ankara H.E. Ms. Pirkko Hämäläinen, who was accompanied by the roving Ambassador of Finland to the South Caucasus H.E. Ms.Kirsti Narinen and the roving Ambassador of Finland for Central Asia H.E. Mr.Ilkka Räisänen at the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.

Parties held extensive discussions on the structure, current agenda and prospective activities of the Organization, as well as elaborated on exploring cooperation opportunities between the OTS and Finland including but not limited to fostering ties with the EU and the Nordic Council.  

Sides also exchanged views about the regional and global developments that are high on the agenda of international politics.
