The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev received the Secretary General of Alliance of Logistics Centers and Cargo Carriers of Turkic States Mr. Askar Kadirov on 27 August 2024 at the premises of the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.
During the meeting, Secretary General Omuraliev emphasized the importance of the Alliance and expressed hope that the newly established structure would serve as a bridge between business interests and government initiatives, playing a pivotal role in strengthening cooperation between government bodies and the private sector in the transport industry.
The parties exchanged views on the Alliance’s plans and discussed concrete steps to enhance transport connectivity in the region, with a focus on the active involvement of the private sector, particularly in developing the region’s transport infrastructure and transit potential.
