The Ambassador of Finland to Ankara H.E. Ari Mäki paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev on 23 February 2023 at the OTS Secretariat in Istanbul.
Ambassador Mäki congratulated Ambassador Omuraliyev for his appointment to the post of the OTS Secretary General and wished him success during his term in the office.
Secretary General Omuraliev informed Ambassador Mäki on activities of the Organization and reiterated the readiness of the OTS to work together on issues of common interest.
During the meeting, the Secretary General and the Ambassador discussed regional developments, as well as wide range of issues of cooperation, including OTS-EU relations, collaboration in energy, transport and development areas.
