The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev received the Ambassador of Guatemala to Türkiye H.E. Jairo David Estrada Barrios on 30 January 2023 at the premises of the OTS Secretariat.
Ambassador of Guatemala congratulated Secretary General Omuraliev on his appointment as the new Secretary General of the OTS and wished him every success in his tenure.
During the meeting, the Secretary General and the Ambassador discussed various regional developments, as well as wide range of issues of cooperation.
Upon the request of Ambassador of Guatemala, the Secretary General also provided information on the regulations for obtaining Partnership Status at the OTS.
The Ambassador of Guatemala expressed his willingness to work closely with the OTS towards building a mutually beneficial partnership.
