Pelin Musabay Baki and Yedil Myrzakhanov, Project Directors of the Turkic Council had a meeting with the representatives of Germany that assumes the OSCE Chairmanship and the officials of the OSCE Secretariat on 7 December 2016 in Hamburg within the preparations of the 23rd OSCE Ministerial Council.
In the meeting, the modalities of participation of the Turkic Council in the Ministerial Council as the guest of the German Chairmanship was taken up. Furthermore, the steps to be taken to deepen the ongoing relations between the Secretariats of the Turkic Council and the OSCE were also discussed.
In this regard, Project Directors expressed the gratitude for the participation of the relevant OSCE experts in the conference co-organized by the Turkic Council and the UN Alliance of Civilizations on "the Role of Youth in Countering Violent Extremism" on 20-21 October 2016 in Istanbul.
After the meeting, Project Directors attended the side event related to the regional competition for the OSCE Campaign of United Countering Violent Extremism.
