Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) & Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Marat Sharshekeev, President, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and Dr. Adham Ikramov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Republic of Uzbekistan attended the meeting.
The President underlined his deep contentment with the moral support that the Turkic Council extended to Azerbaijani people, which he underscored as a manifestation of unity and solidarity among the Turkic speaking countries.
President Aliyev gave an overview on the latest development on Nagorno-Karabakh issue and stated that Azerbaijan will continue his faithful fight to restore its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
On this occasion, His Excellency expressed the significance and timely organization of the Meeting of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States in Baku.
Secretary General Baghdad Amreyev informed the President about the agenda of the ongoing meeting of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku and the current activities of the Turkic Council carried out in various areas of economic cooperation among the Member States as well as the ongoing efforts for the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund and the comprehensive Action Plan of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) for the 2020-2021 periods.
Secretary General restated the full support of the people of the Turkic World to brotherly Azerbaijan and stressed the importance of the fair settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
M.Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Turkic business community, which embodies 50 million business people are in Baku to demonstrate their support to brotherly Azerbaijan in its rightful war.
Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov and President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Marat Sharshekeev also reiterated their countries solidarity with Azerbaijan at this difficult time.
