Presidents of the Turkic Council will hold an Extraordinary Video Summit on 10 April 2020 on Corona Virus
The Extraordinary Video Summit of the Turkic Council will be held on 10 April 2020 with the theme of “Cooperation and solidarity in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic”.
The Summit was initiated by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev, and will be attended by H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Sooronbai Zheenbekov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, H.E. Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary and H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, Secretary General of the Turkic Council.
Director-General of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, will also take part at the video conference.
In the Summit, Presidents and Prime Minister will exchange views on the measures taken at the national level to combat the corona virus epidemy, boost multilateral cooperation in the field of healthcare, and address the common challenges caused by the outbreak of COVID-19 in our region. 
They will also discuss the ways of overcoming negative effects of corona virus on the national and global economies, touch upon prospective joint efforts and common measures for ensuring the continuation of trade relations and seamless transportation among others during the crisis and in the post-pandemic period.
The Heads of States will adopt the Declaration of the Summit.
