Press Conference of the First Meeting of the Ministers and High Officials in charge of Information and Media of the Turkic Council
The Secretary General of the Turkic Council Ambassador Ramil Hasanov had a joint press conference with the Ministers and High Official in charge of Media and Information of the Turkic Council Member States.
They informed the members of the press about the issues discussed at the meeting including the cooperation process initiated among the National TV Channels and News Agencies of the Turkic Council Member States.
They also stressed the importance of cooperation in the sphere of media and information and expressed hope that the International Turkic News Channel (ITNC) would be launched the earliest time possible.
Furthermore, the Secretary General Hasanov signed the Agreed Minutes of the First Meeting of the Ministers and High Officials in charge of Information and Media of the Turkic Council being held earlier this day.
At the end of the press conference, the Secretary General also gave an interview to the Khabar Agency after posing for the `family picture` with the heads of delegations.
