Turkic Council Joint Election Observation Mission formed by the Turkic Council monitored the first round of Presidential Election in Turkey held on 10 August 2014.
Turkic Council Joint Election Observation Mission conducted monitoring activities in Istanbul.
The Mission was comprised of the members of the Turkic Council Secretariat, Turkic Academy as well as representatives from the member states.
Such kind of election observation activities within the framework of Turkic Council is performed for the fourth time.
Previously, Turkic Council`s joint observation missions monitored the Presidential Election of the Kyrgyz Republic realized in October 2011 in Osh, the Parliamentary Election of the Republic of Kazakhstan in January 2012 in South Province, and the Presidential Elections of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Agdam region.
